Blackmores has embarked on a strategic business transformation as we introduce new ways of working across our ERP and technology landscape. This transformation will enable greater efficiencies, improved data and reporting capabilities, and a reimagined employee experience as we deliver a new, enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA platform.

As part of this transformation, we are seeking an experienced PowerBI Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future of Blackmores' reporting and data landscape. Working across Power BI, Snowflake and SAP S/4HANA, you will translate complex business reporting requirements into clear, structured data requirements, ensuring data is accurately mapped, validated and ready for delivery.

This is a hands-on, delivery focused 18-month fixed-term contract based in Surry Hills, NSW, with hybrid working arrangements (3 days in the office and 2 days from home).

Responsibilities include

  • Analyse existing Power BI reports, breaking down data models, measures, calculations and business rules to establish clear reporting requirements.
  • Map reporting requirements through to source systems, SAP S/4HANA data structures and Snowflake data objects, ensuring end-to-end data lineage and traceability.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, functional SMEs and implementation partners to gather, clarify and validate reporting and data requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate and rationalise existing reports, improving consistency and reducing duplication across the reporting landscape.
  • Support the development of reusable data objects within Snowflake, helping establish a scalable and efficient enterprise data platform.
  • Review data models, solution designs and functional specifications to ensure they align with business requirements and programme standards.
  • Use SQL to profile, query and validate data, ensuring accuracy and consistency between source and target environments.
  • Develop and maintain key documentation, including requirements inventories, data mappings, data dictionaries, KPI definitions and data lineage.
  • Prepare and execute unit and system integration testing for data objects and reports, including data reconciliation and defect management.
  • Support the prioritisation of the reporting backlog, identifying critical business requirements, dependencies and delivery risks.

Who are you?

You are an experienced technical Business Analyst with a strong background in reporting, business intelligence and data platforms. You enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology, translating complex data requirements into practical solutions and bringing stakeholders together to achieve clear outcomes.

You will also bring

  • 8+ years' experience in business analysis, including at least 3 years working across reporting, BI, data warehouse or data platform projects.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Power BI, including the ability to interpret data models, DAX measures, Power Query and existing report logic.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying, profiling and validating data, ideally with exposure to Snowflake or a similar cloud data platform.
  • A sound understanding of data modelling concepts, including facts, dimensions and data relationships.
  • Experience documenting data lineage, source-to-target mappings, business rules and reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops, engage with stakeholders and resolve complex or conflicting requirements.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, data reconciliation and defect management.
  • Previous experience working on a large-scale ERP transformation alongside a systems integration partner, ideally within a SAP environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in business-friendly language.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the initiative to take ownership and work independently.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA data structures, ERP data migration, data governance tools or Agile delivery practices is required.

Most importantly, you will demonstrate a genuine commitment to our values of Passion for Natural Health, Integrity, Respect, Leadership and Social Responsibility.
