As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) on our team, you'll help support and sustain a production Kubernetes-based platform operating within the Intelligence Community. You'll perform platform operations, infrastructure maintenance, software upgrades, troubleshooting, incident response, and operational support activities while helping drive automation and continuous improvement. You'll work with cloud-native technologies supporting mission systems deployed on AWS-based infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, Terraform, and Helm.

You Have

• Experience operating and supporting production containerized Kubernetes-based infrastructure and administering Kubernetes environments and supporting ongoing troubleshooting and maintenance
• Experience with AWS cloud environments, Red Hat OpenShift, and Amazon EKS
• Experience deploying and managing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, including Terraform and deploying and managing containerized applications using Helm
• Experience developing automation and scripting solutions using Bash or Python and supporting software upgrades, patching, operational requests, and incident response activities
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and database concepts
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and communicate effectively with customers
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certification such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Certification

• Experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense environments
• Experience supporting platform operations and sustainment in production environments
• Experience supporting troubleshooting and outage response for large-scale systems
• Experience implementing automation to streamline deployments, upgrades, and operational processes
• Experience developing monitoring and alerting improvements to proactively identify issues
• Experience supporting Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud-native platform environments
• Knowledge of change management, operational support, and IT service management processes
• Possession of strong customer engagement and communication skills

Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
