Software Engineer - AI & SAP

Bristlecone India Limited seeks a seasoned SAP Specialist to lead functional delivery of S/4 HANA projects while embedding cutting‑edge Generative AI capabilities. The role blends deep SAP functional knowledge with hands‑on Python development, enabling scalable AI‑powered extensions that enhance business processes and drive digital transformation for our clients.

• Lead functional design and configuration of SAP S/4 HANA modules for client projects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Develop and integrate Python‑based AI services, leveraging Generative AI and LLMs, into SAP workflows.
• Build scalable backend applications using Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django) to support SAP extensions.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and performance tuning for SAP and AI components.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants on SAP and AI integration.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation, including solution architecture and data models.
• Participate in pre‑sales activities, solution demos, and proposal development.
• Stay updated on SAP S/4 HANA releases and emerging AI technologies, recommending best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and governance standards across solutions.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA functional consulting.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python development and AI/ML frameworks.
• Proven expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and integrating them into enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask) and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies (IDoc, OData, BAPI, SAP Cloud Platform).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Certifications in SAP S/4 HANA (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD) and/or AI/ML are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
