IT Business Partner

主要职责/Primary Responsibilities

• Business Relationship Management, Strategic Business-IT Alignment & Digital Roadmap Leadership
• Partner closely with APAC business and functional leaders to identify IT system constraints and gaps and define the requirements for the medium & long-term growth targets.
• Develop, iterate and execute digital transformation roadmap aligned with global IT standards and local manufacturing business priorities.
• Define the needs for and drive the adoption of smart manufacturing, data analytics, process automation and standardized digital workflows to deliver productivity and efficiency goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary IT contact for regional business leadership, understanding business strategy, objectives and operational challenges while identifying opportunities for digitalization, automation and AI adoption.
• Support transformation initiatives and organizational change by translating business priorities into clear IT roadmaps, solution requirements and measurable value realization plans.
• Demand Qualification, IT Portfolio & Project Delivery
• Act as the first-line intake for local IT demands; triage requests by separating user training needs, process clarification, and minor configuration changes from true system issues.
• Centralize the collection, validation, categorization, and prioritization of all APAC business IT demands via a structured framework.
• Own the local improvement backlog, execute or coordinate minor configuration enhancements, and maintain regular reporting on demand status, issue closure, and improvement progress.
• Lead cross-functional APAC IT projects end-to-end, managing scope, schedule tracking, risk mitigation, and benefit realization reporting.
• Prepare local IT improvement budgets aligned with P&L priorities and present investment proposals, ROI analysis, and risk assessments for budget approval.
• Ensure demands are implementation-ready before entering the IT portfolio process by clarifying requirements, assessing benefits, supporting cost estimates, defining acceptance criteria, preparing business cases, and identifying impacted processes and systems.
• Business Process Ownership Support & Enterprise Application Landscape Expertise
• Develop broad expertise in end-to-end business processes, including Marketing-to-Lead, Lead-to-Order, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Service-to-Satisfaction, Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire, Logistics & Warehouse Management, Product Design-to-Decommission, and Business Intelligence & Analytics.
• Translate business requirements into solution requirements, assess impacts across end-to-end process chains, collaborate closely with E2E Process Owners, and constructively challenge local customizations that conflict with global standards.
• Maintain a broad understanding of the enterprise application landscape, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP CPQ, SAP Analytics/BW, SAP Integration Platform, MES and manufacturing systems, PLM, engineering applications, CRM, document management, data analytics, and connected enterprise applications and interfaces.
• Understand business capabilities, business risks, process dependencies, data flows, integration impacts and technical feasibility without being expected to act as a deep technical specialist.
• Innovation, AI Leadership & Third-Party IT Vendor Governance
• Hold full ownership of the day-to-day performance management of the outsourced IT service team covering APAC infrastructure, application support, and project delivery.
• Manage local external vendors or resources for non-complex IT tasks, ensuring timely delivery, clear accountability, cost transparency, and alignment with local business requirements.
• Conduct regular Service Level Agreement (SLA) reviews, service audits, and escalation management, holding vendors accountable for system response speed and resolution quality.
• Identify AI opportunities, promote process automation, challenge manual and non-value-added activities, support adoption of emerging technologies, and drive digital transformation initiatives that create measurable business value.
• Stakeholder Management, Governance, Standardization & Change Enablement
• Safeguard the global template by ensuring no Go-Live occurs without technical sign-off from the Global Design Authority.
• Translate complex technical logic into plain business language for non-technical executives; collect user feedback, organize system training, and drive digital tool adoption.
• Coordinate IT-related compliance, data privacy, and internal audit preparations per global IT policies and APAC local regulatory requirements.
• Build trusted senior stakeholder relationships with APAC business leadership, corporate and global IT teams, and cross-site department heads.
• Promote global standards, template adoption and process harmonization, preventing unnecessary regional customizations and escalating deviations to E2E Process Owners when required.

IT Expertise

Broad SAP and enterprise application generalist expertise, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP CPQ, reporting and analytics platforms, manufacturing systems and enterprise integrations[RH2.1]. (For anything – digitalization/ AI Solutions/ IT infrastructure)

Business Acumen

Strong business process knowledge in industrial manufacturing environments, with understanding of end-to-end workflows across sales, order handling and fulfillment, production, warehouse, logistics, finance, HR and analytics processes.

Strategic Thinking

Balancing short-term systems requirements with long-term digital needs.

Able to quantify IT project value, track service KPIs and make data-backed investment recommendations

Ability to triage critical system bottlenecks and drive cross-party resolution.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields

工作经验/ Work Experience

• Minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, operations, IT or digital transformation, with proven ability to bridge business needs and technology solutions.
