Responsibilities

  • Own an integration end to end: design, code, and production system
  • Set technical defaults for a growing team
  • Own the architecture: auth, identity, multi-tenancy, data movement, performance
  • Run what you build: own infrastructure, CI, deployment, and observability
  • Work on top of external platforms
  • Partner with internal teams to agree on interfaces
  • Write design docs, RFCs, and other documentation

Requirements

  • 5+ years building software, with a good chunk on data-heavy or integration systems
  • Solid backend and systems instincts
  • Comfortable reasoning about deployment topology, multi-tenancy, and data movement
  • Experience with modern auth protocols, service principals, and identity federation
  • Experience building on someone else's platform
  • Comfortable in ambiguity and shipping before spec is finished
  • Comfortable enough in JavaScript / TypeScript to jump in when it helps
  • Use AI tools well and honestly
  • Write well

Preferred

  • Familiarity with a major cloud data or analytics platform ecosystem
  • Real depth in auth and identity federation, or experience shipping through a partner marketplace or certification process
  • Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms, or the isolation and deployment topology behind them
  • Working knowledge of ClickHouse, or another columnar / OLAP engine
