Cisco SP/ENT Network Expert - long-term - US, UK and EU

This position is a full-time contract opportunity for a Cisco Network Expert to work for our Service Provider and Enterprise end customers. Will be responsible for positioning, architecting and delivering service solutions around Cisco’s SP/ENT technologies. Responsibilities Design, implementation, assessment and support of complex networks. Maximise network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimisation. Serve as the Expert within Services and Technical aspects of Service Provider networks (SP Architectures, IP/MPLS, LTE/IMS, IPv6, IP NGN, Cloud etc.). Work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate the staging and deployment of equipment, ensures project checkpoints are met, and performs validation testing. Developing the Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Material (BOM) for all projects, ensuring the equipment and configuration specified will meet customer requirements. Delivering an exceptional customer experience. Contributing to team and company culture, knowledge, and morale. Requirements Qualifications Must have extensive knowledge of and minimum 5 years’ experience with the following: Routing protocols (including but not limited to OSPF/BGP) and Switching Hands-on experience with Cisco products MPLS Networks (MPLS-TE, RSVP, LDP, L3VPN, L2VPN/Pseudo wires, CESoPSN etc.) Juniper knowledge an advantage Certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences CCIE R&S preferred
