Job Summary

Client is seeking an experienced SQL Server / ETL Developer to support its Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Implementation Team. The SQL Server / ETL Developer will contribute to software development, system integration, data management, testing, and production support for critical utility IT systems.

SQL Server / ETL Developer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, SSIS/SSRS solutions, and Python-based integrations.
• Support ETL processes, data mapping, and file-based and real-time system integrations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to configure and maintain test environments.
• Perform incident triage, defect remediation, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Execute regression, SIT, SAT, and UAT testing.
• Develop BRDs, technical documentation, workflows, and test scripts.
• Manage concurrent projects using Agile/Scrum practices and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and create Power BI reports.

SQL Server / ETL Developer Qualifications

Required

• 3–6 years of relevant IT experience.
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS/SSRS, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of ETL, data mapping, system integration, and SQL databases.
• Experience with SIT, SAT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing competing priorities in Agile environments.

Preferred

• Utility industry experience, especially AMI.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Power BI.
• Knowledge of incident prevention and HPI processes.
