This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MuleSoft Developer. In this position, you will be responsible for the development, testing and support of APIs & Integrations leveraging MuleSoft Anypoint platform. You must understand user stories/requirements, design and develop integration solution to meet the business and end user requirements. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Location

This position is located in Newark, NJ. Candidate must be local and able to go in the office

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for development, testing, support, documentation and deployment of APIs and Integration leveraging MuleSoft Anypoint platform
• Ensure the APIs & Integrations follow client standards
• Understand user stories/requirements, design and develop integration solution to meet the business and end user requirements
• Responsible for delivering high quality APIs & Integrations that meets acceptance criteria defined
• Conduct code review and maintain assets in repository following appropriate branching strategy
• Responsible for developing CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot complex production issues with APIs, identify source of the issue and fix/work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed
• Become a subject matter expert in MuleSoft Platform
• Continually analyze and innovate to develop the assets that improves the overall quality and success of the platform

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years of experience as developer with a focus on enterprise integration platforms
• 1+ years of experience in developing solution leveraging MuleSoft platform
• Knowledge of MuleSoft platform capabilities with experience of server administration and physical deployment (On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid)
• In depth experience in all aspects of Agile software development lifecycle
• Technically savvy and proven experience in working well in a highly dynamic environment while maintaining strong relationship with stakeholders & teammates
• Experience implementing integration solutions using APIs and web services technologies
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Desirable to have two MuleSoft technical certifications
• Experience integrating with Salesforce, SAP is desirable.
• Experience with SAP XI/PI is highly desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This sub family is responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release. Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. Expertise in one or more programming language is required.

Impact

Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area/ project team. Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. May assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments.

Leadership & Talent Management

Requires working knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of technical domain. Typically requires BS degree and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
