Job Overview

The Associate Product Operations role at HungerStation is an Individual Contributor (IC1) position within the Product Operations department of the Product division, reporting directly to the Product Operations Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to optimizing the overall user experience, enhancing operational processes, and supporting product managers in achieving HungerStation's core objectives (ABCs).

Key Responsibilities & Activities

In this role, the Associate Product Operations professional supports senior team members—both individual contributors and managers—through analytical tasks, research, and information gathering. The position involves reactively advising stakeholders on product usage and resolving routine stakeholder requests and bugs through cross-functional coordination. A core focus is operationalizing the "Voice of the Vendor," which entails building and embedding feedback loops into the product development cycle and translating feedback data into digestible formats to drive continuous product improvement.

Additionally, the role supports product launches and implementations by keeping stakeholders aligned on timelines and critical information. The associate actively participates in testing new features, updates, and bug fixes to enable data-driven decision-making within the Product team. Furthermore, they contribute to and positively influence product roadmaps by articulating clear problem statements derived from feedback and data analysis, while identifying variable potential causes and effects.

Governance, Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement

From a governance and operational resilience standpoint, the associate is expected to strictly follow all internal policies, procedures, and processes to ensure daily operations are conducted consistently and in a controlled manner. They are responsible for identifying continuous improvement opportunities across processes and practices while upholding a high-performance working environment aligned with HungerStation’s values. Externally, the position interacts with vendors and riders, while internally collaborating with various HungerStation stakeholders.

Candidates for this entry-level position should be Emirati's (having a Family Book) and 0 to 1 year of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Technical competencies require a practical understanding of API technology, API testing tools (such as Postman), XML/JSON technologies, and data analysis tools.
