Specialized platform support

build and maintain Bloomberg terminals and other trading-floor systems; support developer and quantitative tooling (Visual Studio, VS Code, SQL Server Management Studio, scheduling and container tools), as well as approved AI-assistant applications and their workstation integrations.

Skills and qualifications

  • Familiarity with PowerShell for basic troubleshooting and automation; willingness to develop scripting skills.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management or patching tools - KACE, SCCM, Intune, or similar.
  • Familiarity with hardware lifecycle work, including imaging, workstation deployment, peripheral troubleshooting, asset tagging, and secure decommissioning.
  • Comfort supporting remote access technologies (RDP, VPN) and conducting remote troubleshooting.
  • Basic networking literacy and awareness of standard security practices.
  • Experience in a regulated, audited, or otherwise controlled environment is a strong plus.
  • Financial services experience - particularly Bloomberg terminal support - is a plus.
  • Any related certification is a plus.

What we’re looking for

  • Team player, self-starter, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Good communication skills and a genuine eagerness to help people.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information — this role has access to sensitive company and employee data.

Comfortable working a queue

consistent follow-through on many small requests, not one project at a time.

Working Arrangements

  • On-site only in our NYC office — this is not a remote or hybrid role.
  • Occasional scheduled after-hours work for patching windows and restores.
  • Ability to move and install IT equipment and work in server rooms, wiring closets, and occasionally go to the CT office as needed.
