Responsibilities

Own upkeep and maintenance of data pipeline
Ingest and standardize member rosters and claims data
Make architectural decisions on database and Snowflake environment
Administer Snowflake as infrastructure
Support Snowflake as a service for teams
Oversee Git environment and permissions
Develop and maintain data pipelines with monitoring and alerting
Participate in support rotation
Support iterative definitional work with stakeholders
Lead projects and provide technical mentorship

Requirements

10+ years of professional data engineering experience
Healthcare industry experience with claims and membership data
Hands-on expertise with Dagster as primary orchestration tool
Expert-level proficiency in Python
Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake
Snowflake administration experience
Strong SQL skills and data warehousing fundamentals
Git administration experience
Ability to lead and mentor other engineers

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Salesforce development experience
Proficiency with VS Code or comparable tooling
Experience with AI coding assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot
