Appian Developer

We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer to design, configure, develop, and support Appian applications and workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, developing enterprise-grade integrations, and leveraging Appian workflow, automation, data fabric, and AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and support Appian applications and workflows.
• Analyze business and user requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Determine appropriate process models, records, rules, integrations, and UI components to meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain Appian objects, including Process Models, Records, Reports, Rules, SAIL Interfaces, Security Objects, and Web APIs.
• Develop enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, and external systems.
• Build and enhance solutions utilizing Appian Data Fabric, workflow automation, and case management capabilities.
• Leverage Appian AI capabilities including AI Copilot, AI Skills, AI-powered automation, and Appian Composer.
• Participate in AI-assisted development initiatives to improve development productivity and accelerate feature delivery.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, product owners, and provider operations teams.

Required Skills

• Appian Certified Developer
• Minimum 5 years of Appian development experience
• Appian Configuration & Development

AI & Appian AI Requirements

• Hands-on Experience with Appian AI Capabilities
• Experience Using Appian Composer or AI-Assisted Development Tools
• Experience Implementing AI-Enabled Workflows
• Understanding of AI Governance, Prompt Management, Testing, and Quality Controls
• Exposure to Claude, OpenAI, MCP Integrations, or Similar AI Development Accelerators
