Role Descriptions

• Analyze and extract data from IBM DB2 databases for migration to Databricks Lakehouse.
• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for Db2 and Databricks.
• Hands on Experience in extracting full inventory of Db2 schemas, tables, views, aliases, stored procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, and performing dependency validations.
• Experience with Lakebridge Analyzer, DB2 Catalog SQL, DB2 LUW CLI/SQL clients such as Data Studio, and Mainframe TSO/ISPF.
• Convert and modernize DB2 SQL, stored procedures, and legacy ETL workflows into scalable Databricks solutions.
• Understanding of DB2 security grants, sensitive-data access controls, and implementation of equivalent controls using Databricks Unity Catalog.
• Strong understanding of DB2 database structures and data models supporting P&C Insurance products.
• Validate data quality, reconciliation, completeness, and migration accuracy between DB2 source and Databricks target platforms.
• Eligible to workimize high-volume data ingestion, transformations, Spark jobs, and Databricks workload performance.
• Collaborate with business, data engineering, cloud, and architecture teams supporting enterprise data modernization programs.
