Core skill for ETL testing

• 4+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.
• Strong SQL and Database Testing skills.
• Experience in ETL validation, data migration, source-to-target testing, and data reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Informatica/SSIS/Talend/DataStage or similar ETL tools.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud data platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and defect management skills.
• Agile project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and ETL requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
• Create and execute complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Conduct Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing of ETL processes.
• Verify data quality, completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects through closure.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Data Engineers to resolve issues.
• Prepare test execution reports and provide regular status updates.
• Support SIT, UAT, and Production validation activities.
