We need for L2/ L3 Mongo DBA support Engineer who can independently handle complex Mongo related support cases for our most critical business applications.

We must have senior level Mongo skillset on our India-based team to meet the requirements of an L2/ L3 support function.

M (8+ years), SM (10+ years)

Location

ONLY Bangalore (willing to relocate to Bangalore)

Here are some basic high-level requirements for the L2 support function:

  • Foundational understanding of MongoDb internal architecture
  • Solid understanding of MongoDb infrastructure configurations for sharded and non-sharded deployments
  • Expert skills with MongoDb backup and recovery
  • Expert skills with MongoDb Performance Tuning and Triage
  • Foundational understanding of data migration utilities and solutions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Mongod command shell
  • Demonstrated proficiency in querying MongoDB databases using MongoDb query language ( filtering, aggregation, etc.. )
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Unix shell scripting
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
