Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Messaging & Middleware Engineer to support and enhance enterprise-scale financial messaging platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FIX Protocol, SWIFT technologies, middleware engineering, cloud-native platforms, automation, and enterprise infrastructure. This role will focus on architecture, engineering, modernization, security, and operational support of mission-critical financial messaging environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Middleware, Financial Messaging, or Distributed Systems
• Strong experience with:
• FIX Protocol
• Client Appia
• QuickFIX
• SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA)
• SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG)
• SWIFT FIN, FINPlus, InterAct, FileAct
• ISO 15022 (MT) & ISO 20022 (MX)
• Expertise in:
• Linux Administration
• OpenShift & Kubernetes
• Docker/Containerization
• AWS Cloud Platform
• Terraform & Ansible
• CI/CD Pipeline Development
• Shell/Python Scripting

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and support enterprise FIX and SWIFT messaging platforms.
• Install and maintain SWIFT infrastructure components and financial messaging services.
• Manage message routing, connectivity, encryption, security controls, and compliance requirements.
• Develop automation solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and support cloud-native and containerized solutions using OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Lead platform modernization, resiliency, high-availability, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis, incident management, and problem resolution for critical production issues.
• Create architecture documentation, engineering standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, scalability, and reliability.
