Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in observability, monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving application reliability, monitoring system performance, identifying issues proactively, and supporting production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring and observability solutions for applications and distributed systems.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, logs, and distributed tracing.
• Configure and manage observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and OpenSearch/ELK.
• Implement synthetic monitoring to identify potential issues before they impact users.
• Automate monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational tasks using Python, Bash, and Shell scripting.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation using Docker, Git, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Work with Eligible to workP Cloud Monitoring and cloud-native observability tools.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, identify root causes, and implement reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Track incidents and operational activities using ServiceNow and Jira.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in SRE, Observability, Monitoring, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry (OTEL), Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.
• Experience with OpenSearch and/or ELK Stack.
• Experience building monitoring dashboards, logging, tracing, and alerting solutions.
• Knowledge of synthetic monitoring and proactive reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Docker, Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Eligible to workP Cloud Monitoring and cloud-native observability tools.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, Agile/Scrum, and incident management.
