Director IT Solution Delivery (Mass Market Segment) at Du. We’ll keep it in your applied jobs, so you can see it later and be warned before applying to the same employer twice.

As part of the application process, you will be invited to complete a competency-based interview assessment. This will be through our partner called Sapia. Completion of this assessment is required for your application to progress.

The assessment is not time-bound, so please set aside sufficient uninterrupted time to complete it thoughtfully. When responding, use specific examples from your current or previous work experience that best demonstrate your experience and capabilities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Own predictable end-to-end IT delivery for demands, ensuring agreed business and product priorities are translated into achievable delivery commitments across multiple Agile squads, technology teams and partners.
  • Lead integrated planning and delivery cadence, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, refinement and reviews, ensuring squads are aligned to one integrated delivery plan and clear objectives.
  • Manage cross-squad and external dependencies, ensuring dependencies across technology teams, Network, vendors and other delivery functions are identified early, assigned clear ownership, tracked and escalated when required.
  • Lead integrated risk and impediment management, maintaining visibility of delivery risks and resolving or escalating systemic impediments that individual squads cannot address independently.
  • Drive delivery predictability, flow and quality, using PI metrics and delivery data to identify bottlenecks, improve forecasting and continuously improve delivery performance, without using velocity or Story Points to compare squads.
  • Orchestrate delivery across Agile, waterfall, vendor and external dependencies, creating transparency and coordination across different delivery models to achieve integrated outcomes.
  • Build strong cross-functional alignment across Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, Quality, Operations and external partners, enabling timely decisions and resolution of delivery issues while maintaining clear accountability boundaries.
  • Enable autonomous, high-performing squads, working with Scrum Masters to strengthen collaboration, remove systemic barriers and embed Agile-at-Scale ways of working without taking control of squad-level execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the delivery ecosystem, leading cross-squad Inspect & Adapt and ensuring improvement actions have clear ownership, are measurable and translate into better delivery outcomes
