• Proven LLM experience (OpenAI, Anthropic, others)
• NLP, ML concepts, and AI system design
• Python and agent frameworks (Pydantic AI, LangGraph)

RAG

document processing, chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking

• Prompt, tool call, and structured output design and testing
• Evaluating AI systems with test sets and metrics
• Problem-solving and attention to detail

Nice to Have (Skills)

• Insurance industry or data experience
• Agent orchestration and MCP
• AI observability and tracing (e.g., Logfire)
• AI guardrails, safety, and data privacy
• AWS deployment

Responsibilities

• Build LLM-based applications and agents for specialty insurance problems
• Iterate on prompts, retrieval, and output schemas using evaluation results
• Integrate AI services into existing systems and APIs
• Write clean, tested Python; monitor accuracy, latency, reliability, and cost
• Work with data teams on datasets and knowledge bases
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business leaders
