ECS is seeking a mission-driven Senior Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Database Administrator to support high-consequence, mission-critical DHS systems. This role is designed for a hands-on technical expert who excels in day-to-day administration, optimization, and security of cloud database environments, with a heavy emphasis on executing complex data transfers and system migrations.

This role is the primary custodian of database operations, ensuring seamless migration of legacy data workloads into OCI, managing data flows across secure networks, maintaining Oracle Exadata systems, and leveraging Oracle 26ai capabilities for database efficiency. • Manage secure data transfers across different security domains and federal networks, ensuring compliance with strict DHS data transit policies.
• Support database upgrades and transitions to Oracle 26ai, managing the transfer of schemas, metadata, and tablespaces with minimal disruption to operations.

Performance Tuning & High Availability
