Automation Technician

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

Digital solutions (50%)

• Automation of physical formats and manual spreadsheets reports by digitalizing processes and migrating to automated interfaces - 20%
• Execute technical code testing and validate automation solutions prior to production deployment, ensuring they do not disrupt plant operations – 10%
• Execute technical testing in development environments and troubleshoot apps defects (bugs) identified in applications before they impact production line performance - 5%
• Create and maintain documentation for automated workflows, user guides, and technical instructions detailing the design, functionality, and operation of developed applications and automation solutions. – 5%
• Monitor automated workflows and applications to ensure continuous operation, promptly identifying and reporting technical anomalies that could impact business or plant operations -10%

Junior Oracle analyst (35%)

• Develop interconnections between management systems, databases, peripheral equipment and Oracle – 10%
• Build expertise as an Oracle Super User by assisting end users with system-related questions, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the investigation and resolution of system-generated errors under the guidance of experienced team members – 15%
• Responsible to mass update parameters, maintenance and adjustments with data provided by end users – 5%
• Participate in, document, and execute testing activities for new Oracle implementations and enhancements. – 5%

Facilities and Operations automation support (15%)

• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Production Supervisors to understand operational requirements and translate them into automation solutions and application code – 10%
• Assist as a liaison between the plant and Corporate IT or sister-plant IT teams during critical system issues, helping coordinate communications, escalate problems, and support resolution activities – 5%

Who You Are

The Process Technician is an entry-level professional responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting digital solutions that improve operational efficiency across manufacturing and business processes.

Under the guidance of experienced team members, this role collaborates with Information Technology, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functional teams to automate manual processes, develop applications and system integrations, test and deploy software solutions, and support Oracle-related activities.

The position translates business needs into technical solutions, monitors application performance, troubleshoots issues, maintains technical documentation, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives while building expertise in application development, process automation, and enterprise systems.

For This Role, You Will Need

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Application Development, or a related technical discipline.

Experience

1 year in Apps developer position, low code / no code developer, IT support or related experience.

English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

• Low-code/no-code development platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar)
• Workflow automation concepts and process mapping
• API and system integration fundamentals.
• Basic SQL query development.
• Basic understanding of Oracle ERP systems
