- Write and optimise complex SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and data exploration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand, and translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources.
- Perform data analysis and develop data models to support reporting and analytical needs.
- Write efficient Python scripts for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks.
- Optimise BI solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
- Strong experience programming in SQL, including writing and optimising complex queries.
- Proven experience working as a Business Intelligence Developer or Data Analyst.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau for data visualisation and report development.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and scripting.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, accurate work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tableau certification or experience with additional BI tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
