Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior SharePoint & Power Platform Engineer to design, develop, migrate and support enterprise solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint Online and the Power Platform.

The individual should have strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online development and administration, SharePoint migrations, Power Apps and Power Automate, and should be comfortable working directly with client and technical stakeholders in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop and support solutions using SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365.
• Plan and execute SharePoint migrations, including migration from legacy/on-premises SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online.
• Assess existing SharePoint sites, subsites, lists, libraries, pages, metadata, permissions and dependencies as part of migration activities.
• Support restructuring of existing SharePoint environments into modern site collections / hub-based structures.
• Develop and enhance business applications using Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and SharePoint-integrated applications.
• Build, analyse and remediate Power Automate cloud flows, including flows containing SharePoint site/list references and dependencies.
• Identify dependencies between applications, workflows and SharePoint components during migrations.
• Configure and troubleshoot SharePoint permissions, groups, navigation and search.
• Assist with migration planning, effort estimation, technical assessment, testing, deployment and production transition.
• Create technical documentation covering solution design, migration approach, workflow/application dependencies and operational handover.
• Work collaboratively with architects, business analysts, developers and client SMEs to translate requirements into practical Microsoft 365 solutions.

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online.
• Experience with SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online migration.
• Strong understanding of:
• SharePoint sites and site collections
• Lists and document libraries
• Content types and metadata
• Permissions and security groups
• Navigation and search
• Hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Power Automate workflows.
• Ability to analyse existing SharePoint solutions and identify migration/remediation dependencies.
• Experience troubleshooting SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell for SharePoint/Microsoft 365 administration or migration activities.
• SPFx (SharePoint Framework) development.
• SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate, Quest On Demand or equivalent.
• PnP / PnP Search experience.
• Microsoft Dataverse.
• Power Platform environment and solution management.
• REST APIs and Microsoft Graph integration experience.
• C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript or scripting experience.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 governance and security.
• Experience modernizing legacy SharePoint applications and workflows.
