Azure Cloud Solutions Developer / Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Azure Cloud Solutions Developer / Engineer for a hybrid position with a Financial Services Company located in Dallas, TX. This is a direct hire opportunity.

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Solutions Developer / Engineer with at least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role requires deep expertise across cloud-native application development, integration services, security, and modern data platforms. The ideal candidate combines hands-on software engineering with expert-level knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and will develop solutions that are scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise-scale Azure solutions using cloud-native, microservices, multi-tenant SaaS, and event-driven architectures
• Translate architecture designs, business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable solution designs
• Apply cloud design patterns and engineering standards consistently across application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers
• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones and Hub-and-Spoke architectures
• Implement API and integration capabilities using Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs
• Embed secure-by-design and Zero Trust principles throughout solution architecture and delivery
• Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates
• Design and maintain Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
• Develop AI-enabled solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Azure Machine Learning
• Design and develop applications and APIs using C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Web API, TypeScript, and React.js
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Application Development teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Expert experience applying cloud architecture patterns, distributed systems patterns, and integration patterns
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud platforms and application modernization initiatives
• Hands-on experience building microservices, APIs, containerized workloads, event-driven systems, and multi-tenant SaaS solutions
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps automation, CI/CD, and Agile delivery practices
• Expertise in Azure PaaS / IaaS / SaaS, Hub-and-Spoke, Landing Zones, CAF, and Well-Architected Framework
• Experience with AKS, App Services, Container Apps, and Azure Functions
• Proficiency with APIM, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs
• Knowledge of data platforms such as Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics
• Experience with networking/security tools like NSGs, Front Door, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, RBAC, and Entra ID
• Skilled in Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions
• Software development experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, TypeScript, React.js, and SQL Server

Desired skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, automotive finance, or another regulated industry
• Experience designing enterprise AI platforms or retrieval-augmented generation solutions
• Experience with enterprise architecture governance or cloud centers of excellence
• Working knowledge of FinOps, cloud governance, policy-as-code, and service reliability practices

Pay range: $75.80 - $85.80 per hour
