Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain 99.9% availability of core network infrastructure including routers, switches, and data center fabrics.
- Resolve network incidents and service outages within established SLAs.
- Develop lifecycle, upgrade, patching, and rollback plans for network infrastructure.
- Monitor network devices and ensure proper NOC/SOC onboarding and telemetry reporting.
- Provide recommendations for performance optimization, capacity planning, and remediation activities.
- Support Cisco ISE authentication, authorization, and access control services.
- Administer Network Access Devices and identity groups.
- Manage VoIP administration, moves, adds, changes, and deletions.
- Administer wireless LAN infrastructure and access point deployments.
- Manage load balancers, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments.
- Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, inventories, and change records.
- Submit and manage RFCs through ServiceNow and comply with CAB processes.
Education and Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in lieu of education: A combination of 10 or more years of relevant education, training, and/or professional experience may be considered in place of the degree requirement.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Experience with Cisco enterprise routing and switching technologies. (required)
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting, operations, and infrastructure management. (required)
- Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance or DOE Q Clearance, or have previously held one and be eligible for reinstatement. (required)
- Ability to work with classified information and comply with security requirements (required)
- Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. (required)
- Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance. (required)
- Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)
