• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months (can request 6 months from client once candidate is identified)
• Pay Rate: $50.00–$70.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Strong coverage during U.S. business hours
• Travel Requirements: Periodic client-site travel may be required; details to be confirmed (~1x per month)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a hands-on Cloud Network & Identity Administrator to support cloud-based infrastructure, security, identity management, and network administration activities. The successful candidate will bring practical experience across cloud infrastructure, network operations, identity and access management, and security controls, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, support production environments, and work across infrastructure and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support cloud-based network and infrastructure environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot identity and access management (IAM) configurations, permissions, authentication, and access controls.
• Support network security, connectivity, routing, firewall rules, VPNs, and related infrastructure services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security events.
• Troubleshoot network, identity, access, and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Support implementation and maintenance of security policies and access-control standards.
• Assist with user provisioning, role-based access, privileged access, and authentication technologies.
• Partner with security, cloud, application, and infrastructure teams to resolve operational issues.
• Support infrastructure changes, upgrades, deployments, and production readiness.
• Maintain documentation related to network configurations, access controls, procedures, and operational processes.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in network administration, cloud infrastructure, security, or identity management.
• Experience supporting cloud-based environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.
• Experience with identity and access management, including authentication, authorization, role-based access, and user lifecycle management.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and connectivity issues.
• Understanding of security best practices and enterprise infrastructure controls.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across infrastructure, security, and application teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, or privileged access management.
• Familiarity with cloud-native networking and security services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code or automation tools.
• Previous experience supporting large enterprise or consulting environments.
• Relevant cloud, networking, or security certifications.
