Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DB2 DBA with strong expertise in DB2 (UDB) and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have experience supporting enterprise databases and working with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain DB2 UDB databases.
• Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Manage database availability, security, access, and capacity.
• Support PostgreSQL database environments and related administration activities.
• Work with AWS and/or GCP cloud-based database environments.
• Perform database migration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot database performance and production issues.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure database reliability and availability.
• Implement database best practices for security, performance, backup, and disaster recovery.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with DB2 UDB / DB2 Database Administration.
• Good experience with PostgreSQL administration.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies, preferably AWS or GCP.
• Experience in database backup, recovery, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of database security and high-availability concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
