  • Assess existing SAP Payroll processes, interfaces and benefit administration arrangements.
  • Carry out a detailed gap analysis against HMRC Payrolling of Benefits requirements.
  • Define the target SAP Payroll solution and supporting business processes.
  • Support development, configuration and testing of SAP Payroll enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC Real Time Information (RTI) requirements.
  • Support delivery of a production-ready solution within the required HMRC timelines.
  • Transfer knowledge to the client’s payroll and application support teams.

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive SAP HCM Payroll experience, with strong SAP UK Payroll functional expertise.
  • Experience with SAP Payroll schemas and rules.
  • Experience of payroll-related SAP developments and customisations.
  • Experience supporting payroll integrations and interfaces.
  • Experience with HR and payroll data structures within SAP.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, and experience supporting HMRC compliance initiatives.
  • Understanding of RTI reporting processes.
  • Knowledge of taxable benefits and benefits-in-kind taxation.
  • Experience of payroll compliance and audit requirements.
  • Ideally 10+ years’ experience as a senior SAP HCM Payroll consultant.
  • Strong SAP UK Payroll functional expertise.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and RTI reporting.
  • Fluent English (the only language requirement listed).
