Customer‑focused Onsite IT Support Technician with 3 to 5 years of proven skills and hands‑on experience supporting Microsoft enterprise environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced setting, enjoys solving technical challenges, and takes pride in delivering excellent end‑user support.
Essential Responsibilities
End‑User Support
- Provide onsite technical assistance for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365 applications, and hardware failures
- Technical support on RF scanners, label and network printers.
- Support end users with software installations, configuration, and general IT inquiries
Microsoft Infrastructure Support
- Manage and maintain Active Directory user accounts, groups, and permissions
- Support Entra ID (Azure AD) identity management tasks
- Assist with Intune Company Portal device enrollment, compliance, and application deployment
- Perform basic administration of Exchange Server and Microsoft 365 mailboxes, distribution lists, and policies
Networking & Systems
- Troubleshoot basic networking issues (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP)
- Collaborate with network teams to escalate and resolve connectivity problems
- Support VPN access and remote connectivity tools
Hardware & Peripheral Support
- Diagnose and repair issues with laptops, desktops, printers, and other office equipment
- Perform hardware upgrades, imaging, and device lifecycle management
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist with asset tracking
Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk technician role
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Server, and Microsoft 365 administration
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
- Hands‑on experience supporting hardware (printers, laptops, desktops)
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Skills (but not required)
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Basic PowerShell knowledge
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
