The Summer 2027 Healthcare Analytics Data Science Graduate Internship provides graduate students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience applying advanced data science, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to real-world healthcare challenges. Depending on the intern’s technical background, research interests, and team priorities, assignments may include developing analytical methods to identify unusual provider patterns, applying machine learning techniques to healthcare data, leveraging knowledge graphs to better understand provider information and relationships, developing forecasting solutions, or creating interactive tools that enable stakeholders to explore and interpret analytical results.
The program provides hands-on experience throughout the analytics lifecycle, including data exploration and preparation, statistical analysis, model development and evaluation, visualization, technical documentation, and communication of results. Interns will use tools such as Python, SQL, Git, and GitLab while gaining exposure to collaborative development practices and potentially cloud-based analytics environments.
