  • Familiarity with S3 features such as Object Lock, versioning, replication and data integrity.
  • Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and to messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management, such as Keycloak or OAuth2/OIDC.
  • Experience with performance benchmarking tools (for example WARP), containerized test harnesses or release engineering.
  • Awareness of storage security: encryption, key management and vulnerability remediation.

What success looks like in the first year

  • Independently delivers medium-complexity features and fixes from design through release.
  • Becomes the go-to contributor for at least one Object component, such as SDT, Transition Tool or the S3 layer.
  • Adds measurable improvements to test coverage, automation or observability.
  • Takes part in customer escalations as a reliable technical contributor.
