Our Client

A leading financial firm undergoing a firmwide AI transformation. They are building a brand-new, high-impact Equity Research AI team to revolutionize market intelligence across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to handle large-scale financial and alternative datasets.
• Structure, manage, and optimize both traditional relational databases and specialized Vector/NoSQL databases for high-velocity AI inference.
• Implement rigorous data governance, data quality controls, and pipeline monitoring systems to ensure maximum system reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building data infrastructure in fast-growing tech companies, startups, or data-intensive environments (open to senior candidates).
• Mainland China backgrounds are highly welcome, specifically targeting top talent and graduates from Tsinghua University, Fudan University, or Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
• Mastery of Python, SQL, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake). Experience with Vector DBs (Pinecone, Milvus) is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to construct infrastructure tailored specifically for AI model consumption.
• Professional proficiency in English.
