**Senior Engineer - Digital Signal Processing for Optical Networks (m/f/d)**

**Your mission**

• Conduct innovative research in optical communication and digital signal processing to advance modem technologies for high-speed, high-capacity networks.
• Develop and test algorithms to improve the performance of optical systems and signal processing techniques for coherent and direct-detect optics.
• Employ AI to accelerate innovation in algorithm performance and power consumption.

**Key qualifications**

• PhD degree in Electrical / Communications Engineering at a recognized university on the topic of signal processing.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience after completing the PhD in optical networking.
• Deep experience with optical communication systems, digital signal processing, information theory, coding, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and C; experience coding with LLMs.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
