Lead Java Developer

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Lead Java Developer for their Atlanta, GA /Hybrid location.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Java application development, with proven experience leading development teams and driving technical direction on enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture, with the ability to define architecture standards, conduct design/code reviews, and guide the team on best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Advanced proficiency in Java with the ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems and resolve critical production issues.
• Experienced in leading teams within an Agile delivery model - owning sprint planning, technical estimation, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with business priorities.
• Proven ability to mentor junior/mid-level developers, collaborate with architects and product stakeholders, and act as the primary technical point of contact for the team.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is desirable. Hands-on GenAI/AI-assisted development experience is a plus.
