Test Automation Lead – Python / DevOps

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Test Automation Lead – Python / DevOps for their Lynchburg, VA/Charlotte, NC/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct both Test Automation and Manual Testing to validate software performance and reliability.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
• Integrate DevOps practices to streamline testing processes and improve delivery timelines.
• Use Python to create robust test scripts and enhance testing frameworks.
• Leverage Appium for mobile application testing to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Utilize GIT for version control and manage code repositories effectively.
• Implement Shell Scripts to automate repetitive testing tasks and improve efficiency.
• Apply Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in software testing.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements in all testing activities.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have expertise in Test Automation, DevOps, Python, Appium, Ansible, Shell Script, Manual Testing, and GIT.
• Experience in Customer Premises Equipment is a plus.
