Troubleshoots application key selection, creation of appropriate indexes, and query needs. Problem solve environmental differences and .net based applications. Translates user's needs into sound database design with tables,fields, and relationships documented. Assist in developing purge / archive criteria and procedures for historical application data on a relation model database environment. Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database(s). - 30%Develops database administration tools / utilities / operation procedures. Educates user and maintains database documentation. - 10%Establishes database procedures and standards; assists in database design.
