Windows Systems Administrator

Location

Timmonsville, SC (Hybrid – 4days/ week onsite – 1 day/week remote)

Contract Duration

October 2026 to October 2027 (with strong possibility of an extension)

We are seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, scripting, virtualization, database technologies, and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, VBScript, Batch, and SQL queries.
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Configure and support IIS and related middleware technologies.
• Manage VMware virtual environments and server infrastructure.
• Administer Active Directory, Entra ID, and security best practices.
• Monitor system performance using PRTG and address infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Support change management processes and IT projects.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of IT infrastructure experience (3-5 years preferred).
• Strong Windows Server administration skills.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and SQL.
• Knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux administration.
• Knowledge of Nutanix, DeviceWise, and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with ITIL, change management, and project methodologies.
