Hybrid – Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina, or San Jose, California

Key Responsibilities

Architect and build scalable, always-on API platforms for enterprise demand.
Modernize legacy applications and monolithic architectures to meet modern development and security needs.
Prototype and evolve security capabilities for AI-driven software development.
Partner with engineering leadership to define and execute agile development plans.
Develop, test, deploy, and support production-grade security tools and services.
Critically evaluate designs, including AI-generated code, to identify security gaps and architectural weaknesses before production.

Required Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Demonstrated fluency in applying

Breaking down user stories.
AI-assisted coding and testing.
Automated defect resolution.
Deploying tested software.
Deep, hands-on experience building and deploying production systems on AWS, including EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
Track record of building customer-facing applications in production.
Server-side development experience with Python, Java, Node.js, or similar technologies.
Client-side web development experience using React, Backbone, native JavaScript, or comparable technologies.
Expertise in building secure, large-scale systems using fault-tolerant technologies such as Elasticsearch, CockroachDB, Oracle, MongoDB, and Kafka.
