ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

JSR Tech Consulting is seeking a Director of Field and Market Access Data Analytics to serve as the strategic analytics partner for customer-facing commercial teams at an emerging biopharmaceutical organization.

This role will use claims, laboratory, provider, payer, specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, patient hub, and other healthcare data to improve field execution, customer targeting, market access strategy, and launch readiness within a rare-disease market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary analytics partner for Field Sales, Key Account Management, Thought Leader Liaison, and Market Access teams.
  • Develop segmentation, targeting, territory-planning, account-prioritization, and field-execution insights using healthcare claims, laboratory, provider, payer, and account-level data.
  • Design and continuously improve field-performance dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and reporting solutions that support data-driven performance management.
  • Analyze payer coverage, reimbursement trends, access barriers, and account opportunities using MMIT and comparable market access data.
  • Use specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, patient hub, and aggregator data to identify access barriers and recommend timely commercial interventions.
  • Apply advanced analytics, scenario modeling, predictive approaches, and AI-enabled decision support to account segmentation and payer strategy.
  • Identify high-value accounts, provider networks, referral patterns, treatment pathways, and influential healthcare stakeholders.
  • Support pre-launch and launch planning through patient identification, diagnosis-rate analysis, market sizing, opportunity assessments, and forecasting inputs.
  • Present findings and recommendations to business and executive leaders in a clear, concise, and decision-oriented manner.
  • Manage relationships with data and analytics partners while monitoring data quality, usage requirements, delivery timelines, and reporting consistency.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • MBA, MS, MPH, or comparable advanced degree preferred.
  • Eight to ten years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare analytics, commercial operations, market access analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting field sales, account management, market access, or commercial operations teams.
  • Direct experience working with healthcare claims, laboratory, provider, payer, and customer-level data.
  • Experience with data products such as Komodo, Veeva Compass, Quest, MMIT, Definitive Healthcare, IQVIA, Symphony, or comparable sources.
  • Demonstrated success developing field-force analytics, customer-targeting methodologies, account segmentation, and performance-reporting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, specialty pharmaceutical markets, patient journeys, provider networks, and payer dynamics.
  • Dashboard and visualization experience using Power BI, Tableau, or a similar business intelligence platform.
  • Strong quantitative, problem-solving, project-management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, pre-commercial or emerging commercial environment.
