Cloud Security Engineer

MastarRec is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer to support cybersecurity operations for a growing organization in the United States. This role focuses on protecting systems, data, and infrastructure against evolving security threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, secure, and maintain IT and cloud environments
• Identify and respond to security incidents
• Implement security best practices and controls
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and compliance teams

Requirements

Required Skills

• Cybersecurity fundamentals
• Security tools and frameworks
• Incident response and risk management

Desired Skills

• Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CIS Benchmarks.
• – Cloud security experience
• – Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Checkov, etc.).
