Software Developer / Programmer – Contract (Raleigh, NC)

Build and improve the applications North Carolina agencies use every day.

Mfinite Consulting is building a pool of software developers and programmers for contract assignments with North Carolina state and public-sector agencies in the Raleigh area. Assignments typically run 6–12 months or longer; agencies set the schedule (onsite, hybrid or remote).

Pay & Schedule

• $60 – $71 per hour, based on experience and skill level
• Full-time, about 40 hours per week
• Contract assignment; W-2 hourly employee of Mfinite Consulting LLC
• Direct deposit

What You'll Do

• Develop and enhance applications from established design specifications
• Analyze, design, code and unit test application components
• Configure software to meet functional and technical requirements
• Work with databases, data access and data conversions
• Provide production support and fix defects
• Write technical and user documentation

What You Need

• 1–3+ years of professional development experience (Mid-Level 3–5 years, Senior 5–7, Expert 7+)
• Strong skills in one or more of: C#/.NET, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Angular), Python
• SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL experience
• Git and Agile team experience (Azure DevOps, Jira or similar)
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; able to pass a background check

Great Fit If You Have

• Salesforce, ServiceNow, Power Platform or other low-code platform development
• Cloud development on Azure or AWS; API and integration work
• Web accessibility (WCAG/Section 508) experience
