Manager, Software Development Engineering

Lead a team of software engineers responsible for delivering scalable, high-quality technology solutions that support critical business objectives. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize work, drive execution, and ensure successful delivery of projects and operational commitments. Coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Manage resource planning, team performance, and delivery outcomes across multiple initiatives. Contribute to engineering strategy, modernization efforts, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. Ideal candidates combine strong technical leadership, people management skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams.

Leadership & People Management

• Leads and develops a software engineering team.
• Provides coaching, mentoring, and career development for engineers.
• Builds and strengthens team leadership capabilities.
• Manages team performance and supports talent development activities.

Resource & Delivery Management

• Resource planning and workload management.
• Supports budget planning and strategy discussions.
• Aligns team capacity with delivery commitments.
• Ensures successful execution of software delivery objectives.

Technical Leadership

• Possesses all core skills expected of a senior engineer.
• Guides technical direction and engineering practices.
• Supports engineering quality, modernization, automation, and delivery excellence.
• Builds relationships across delivery teams to enable collaboration and faster execution.

Stakeholder Management

• Develops relationships across the enterprise.
• Partners with business and technology stakeholders.
• Communicates team strategy, priorities, and delivery status.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is

€50,000.00 - €125,000.00
