Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of strong software development experience and 5+ years of experience in working with cloud architectures
• Strong software development experience with Java and a proven versatility to pick up other languages (such as Python, Go or Bash) for automation and tooling.
• Hands-on experience in managing and working with cloud architectures including their specific networking and native services.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) architecture, container runtimes, and package management via technologies like Helm.
• Proficiency with Terraform or similar technolgies, including writing modular, reusable code for multi-environment setups.
• Deep understanding of network security, firewalls, encryption (at rest and in transit), IAM roles, and secret management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, cloud native secret managers).
• Hands-on experience with observability and integrating with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Splunk
• Hands-on experience in building and integrating with micro services.
• Skilled at identifying architectural gaps and driving solutions across partner teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments like AWS, Google Cloud and Azure
• Experience leveraging LLMs or AI tooling for operational automation and workflow optimization
• Strong ability to communicate complex infrastructure concepts to both technical and business stakeholders

Proven track record of leading and managing enterprise level projects or multi-functional engineering initiatives
