Data Bricks Engineer - Plano, TX - Contract - $75-80 Per HR

Description

Join our Data Engineering team as a Senior Engineer to drive data modernization initiatives. Located in Plano, TX, this contract position requires expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, governance, and security of data platforms. The role involves hands-on experience with leading data technologies and migration of data warehouse workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data solutions using modern data platforms.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define best practices and implementation approaches.
Optimize environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Implement and manage data governance, security, and access controls.
Support data migration and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

5 years of Data Engineering experience.
3 years of hands-on experience with modern data platforms.
Strong knowledge of data governance and security solutions.
Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.
