Description

Join our team to develop a cutting-edge risk quant pricing platform. This role is based in Jersey City, NJ, and requires onsite presence. As a contract position, you will be responsible for designing and building a high-performance computing environment for risk calculations. You will collaborate with quantitative analysts and work with large-scale distributed systems. Expertise in hybrid cloud environments and quantitative computing is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and develop a hybrid-cloud platform for large-scale quantitative pricing calculations.
Design a job orchestration system for task scheduling and resource optimization.
Implement an event-driven framework to manage job lifecycles and data flow.
Develop strategies for error handling and system resiliency in distributed environments.
Create intelligent monitoring tools to enhance grid performance and detect anomalies.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in designing and building applications for high-performance computing grids.
Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
In-depth knowledge of capital markets and financial derivatives.
Proven experience with job scheduling and workload optimization on large-scale grids.
Expertise in hybrid cloud management and containerization technologies.
