Developer III-Front UI (7+ yrs (w-2+ yrs as lead Dev); SPAs/JavaScript; WCAG2.1AA or Section 509)

Mandatory Qualifications

• Level III- More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Developer
• Five (5) years of experience building responsive single-page applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
• Three (3) years of experience implementing web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or Section 508 compliance).

Desirable Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
• 5 years of experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, NgRx, or Vuex).
• 5 years of experience writing frontend unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Jasmine.
• 3 years of experience with UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD) and translating mockups into clean code.

Travel/Part-Time/Duties/Responsibilities

The Developer-Front UI (Developer III) is a senior frontend engineer responsible for designing and implementing highly responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces.

• Architect and build modern, responsive single-page applications (SPAs) using frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Ensure UI/UX designs are accurately translated into clean, semantic HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) across all user interfaces.

Consultants may be eligible to telecommute for more than 50% of their work hours, up to and including 100% remote work. Telecommuting arrangements require direct manager approval and are subject to change based on program needs. Consultants approved for 100% remote work must attend monthly in-person meetings at the Albany office and be available for major milestone meetings as needed.
