  • Support data access management activities that help protect sensitive and Navy Federal member data.
  • Work with data analysts, data modelers, engineers, and functional subject matter experts to understand data structures and contribute to technical solution design.
  • Follow established security, engineering, documentation, testing, and Information Security practices when implementing and supporting solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Typically 5–8 years of relevant experience in technology product analysis, data engineering, software development, data analytics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand business processes, document data needs, and translate requirements into implementable technical solutions.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience developing, testing, debugging, deploying, and supporting code in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL; exposure to Java, Scala, or a similar programming language is a plus.

  • Exposure to data modeling concepts or tools such as Erwin or Hackolade is a plus.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to work through technical details, investigate issues, and contribute to implementation and support.
