DevSecOps Engineer (Freelancer)

Are you ready to discover the role of a DevSecOps Engineer in Netcompany?

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will

• Effectively implement a DevSecOps strategy and processes.
• Develop tools and infrastructures in support of the system/component development.
• Analyse code and communicate reviews to development teams.
• Implement and maintain security controls throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), integrating security testing and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and analyse system and application performance, security events, and vulnerabilities, identifying potential risks and coordinating remediation actions with development teams.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and infrastructure management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization technologies, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable environments.

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in DevSecOps or other similar fields.
• Thorough understanding of the SLDC.
• Knowledge of automation tools used to create continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Working knowledge of known DevSecOps tools like Git and GitHub, OpenShift, Helm, Kafka, Istio
• Capability for writing and presenting documents.
• Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience in working in an international/multicultural environment.
