JOB DESCRIPTION

• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data and analytics services, enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and cloud modernization.
• Lead the design of scalable, secure, and governed data platforms leveraging BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, BigLake, and Vertex AI to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.

define enterprise data architecture, drive cloud transformation initiatives, establish governance standards, and enable scalable analytics and AI platforms on Google Cloud.

• Define and implement enterprise data architecture strategies and target-state data platforms on GCP.
• Design scalable and secure data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse architectures using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, BigLake, Dataplex, Dataflow, Datastream, and Pub/Sub.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business, analytics, and AI requirements.
• Establish data integration patterns for batch, streaming, and real-time data processing.
• Define data governance, metadata management, data quality, lineage, and cataloging standards across the enterprise.
• Design data security frameworks including IAM, encryption, data classification, and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and application teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Review and govern solution architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Lead cloud data modernization and migration initiatives from on-premises and legacy platforms to GCP.
• Enable self-service analytics and AI/ML capabilities through modern data architectures and governed data products."
