NetSuite ERP Developer - Assistant Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled NetSuite ERP Developer (C12) to join our Finance Technology organization and contribute to the design, development, integration, and support of Oracle NetSuite solutions supporting critical financial and operational processes.

The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and compliant NetSuite solutions while partnering closely with Finance, Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

NetSuite Development & Solution Design

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom solutions within Oracle NetSuite ERP using SuiteScript 2.x technologies.
• Build and support Client Scripts, User Event Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, Suitelets, and RESTlets.
• Develop custom workflows, records, forms, fields, sublists, and business process automations using SuiteFlow and SuiteBuilder.
• Create and maintain advanced saved searches, SuiteAnalytics workbooks, dashboards, financial reports, and custom PDF/HTML templates.
• Deliver solutions supporting OneWorld environments, including multi-subsidiary and multi-currency operations.

Integration & Enterprise Applications

• Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and enterprise platforms using REST and SOAP web services.
• Develop and support interfaces with systems such as CRM platforms, payment gateways, HR systems, middleware platforms, and enterprise data repositories.
• Build scalable and reliable data synchronization processes, ETL workflows, and financial data migration solutions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, exception handling, and recovery mechanisms for business-critical integrations.

SDLC, Governance & Controls

• Support development lifecycle activities using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), source control, and CI/CD deployment practices.
• Ensure adherence to Citi technology standards, security requirements, audit controls, and regulatory expectations.
• Participate in code reviews and establish best practices for code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Manage NetSuite governance limits, execution performance, and system scalability.

Collaboration & Production Support

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives.
• Provide advanced production support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Assess and support NetSuite bi-annual release upgrades and platform changes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience with at least 4 years of hands-on Oracle NetSuite development experience.
• Strong expertise in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 and NetSuite customization frameworks.
• Experience developing RESTlets, Suitelets, SuiteTalk integrations, and web service APIs.
• Strong programming experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, JSON, XML, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics, saved searches, and advanced reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of SuiteQL, SQL, relational database concepts, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with Git-based source control and CI/CD deployment methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical and integration issues in enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting OneWorld implementations.
• Experience with integration platforms such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or Celigo.
• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or other regulated industries.
• Understanding of audit controls, SOX compliance, role-based security, and segregation of duties principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
